实践转向：强调实践是后实证科学哲学的核心理念之一，但在“索卡尔事件”以后，实践成为“优位”的发展路径。在这条路径上探索的代表作有A。皮克林的《实践的冲突：时间、力量与科学》（TheMaice：Time，AgendSce，iversityofChicagoPress，1995）以及《科学作为实践和文化》（SceasPradCulture，Chicago：TheUyofChicagoPress，1992）；J。罗斯的《理解科学实践：哲学纲领的文化研究》（UaificPractices：CulturalStudiesofaPhilosram。Le，1999）；塞蒂纳的《现代理论中的实践转向》（ThePraiheory，Le，2001）等。
修辞学转向（TheRhetori）：早在“索卡尔事件”之前学界就提出了修辞学转向问题，例如，HerbertWSimons早在1990年就发表了《修辞学转向：探索行为中的发明和劝诫》（TheRhetori：IionandPersuasioo：UyofChicagoPress，1990。）。但在“索卡尔事件”之后，PaulEr在《作为数学哲学的社会建构主义》（SostructivismasPhilosophyofMathematiy：StateUyofNewYork，1998）中对修辞学在数学发现中的作用给予了充分的肯定。拉图尔在他的《科学在行动》中也发挥了修辞学在真理接受中的重要作用。[18]
STS转向：后实证科学哲学经历了“索卡尔事件”之后走向了科学技术的哲学、历史、社会学、政策科学等综合研究（sdteologystudies）。这种研究的代表作主要有：MarioBiagioli编辑的《科学论读者》（TheSceStudiesReader，Le，1999）；SergioSismondo的《科学技术论导论》（AnIntrodutoSdTeologyStudies，Malden，MA：BlackwellpublishingLtd。，2004），等等。我国学界也掀起了有关STS研究的热潮，其中有关“sdteologystudies”的译名争论更是有相当的学术影响。[19]
文化转向：在“索卡尔事件”以前，社会建构主义阵营中就不乏文化论者，但在“索卡尔事件”之后，转向文化已经成为蔚为大观的趋势，在这种趋势中，有K。Kina的《认识文化》（EpistemicCulture：HowtheSowledge）；SandraHarding的《科学与其他文化》（SdotherCultures）；JosephRouse的《理解科学实践：哲学纲领的文化研究》（UaificPractices：CulturalStudiesofaPhilosram），等等。在我国，对于后现代科学哲学中的文化转向也有所回应。2004年11月5日至7日，由南京大学哲学系科学技术与社会研究所和山西大学科学技术哲学研究中心共同主办的“后现代科学观与科学大战”学术研讨会在南京大学召开。[20]
